Job summary

Planet, a leading space and data company, seeks a Senior Director of Product Management for theDefense and Intelligence portfolio. Define strategy, roadmaps and execution for GMS, MDA, and dual-use tools, guiding a team of PMs and partnering with executives to meet national security requirements.

You will work in a hybrid capacity from SF or Arlington, leading cross-functional efforts with government stakeholders to deliver mission-critical software applications for commercial and government

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant work in defense/intelligence/geospatial/aerospace sectors.
8+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
Experience translating market needs into product roadmaps for dual-use or defense software.
Familiarity with ITAR and EAR.
Active or eligible for high-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

Oversee full product lifecycle for the D&I portfolio and define pricing and packaging.
Collaborate with engineering leadership, UX researchers, account executives, product marketing managers, and external government stakeholders.
Lead a team of product managers and drive roadmap execution.
