Job summary

C3 AI, an Enterprise AI software company, seeks a Senior Director of Product Management for Defense and Intelligence to steer product initiatives and go-to-market activities. This onsite role can be based in Redwood City, CA or Tysons, VA, with a focus on defense use cases and a strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include 10+ years delivering products, 5+ years in defense apps, MFA/a solid data/AI background, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
• At least 10 years delivering compelling new products to market.
• At least 5 years of experience with defense applications and implementations; US Military Veteran status a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in data management or AI solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrable domain expertise in messaging, positioning, content creation, sales collateral, GTM strategies, AI development, or digital marketing.
• Experience managing and developing product marketing programs with data-driven results.
• Experience researching product positioning, competitive analysis, and product pricing.
• Ability to develop product strategy and execute against strategic plans.
• Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, engineering, data science, and product design teams.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and market thought leaders to develop understanding and define product requirements.
• Synthesize research to set strategic direction for the C3 AI Defense and Intelligence product suite.
• Build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions.
• Develop messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies for executive presentation.
• Create go-to-market plans for launches and new releases; collaborate with corporate marketing.
• Produce external content including thought leadership, webinars, data sheets, and customer stories with marketing.
• Create internal content such as sales training, competitive positioning, FAQs, and sales playbooks.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, UX, QA and documentation to craft solutions.
• Promote features through training, documentation, and customer/analyst demonstrations with Sales/Support.
• Present with authority at industry conferences and customer events.
• Communicate proactively with customers to build trusted advisor relationships.
