Job summary

ALSAC is seeking a Sr. Director of Data Governance & Enablement to lead an enterprise data governance program at scale in Memphis or remote within the USA.

You will establish ownership, quality, access, and lifecycle controls across the organization, aligning privacy, analytics, and AI governance with business objectives. The role requires a seasoned leader with deep experience in data governance, privacy, and enterprise data management to build a federated community of data owners and analysts

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in information management, data or computer science or related field.
• 10+ years in data governance, data management, privacy, risk or related disciplines.
• 5+ years leading teams or federated communities in complex environments.
• Experience turning privacy and risk requirements into practical data practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance strategy, roadmap, and maturity plan.
• Define policies, roles, and controls for data owners, stewards, and custodians.
• Oversee privacy program and translate obligations into system requirements and controls.
• Guide governance for analytics, AI, and data platforms with cross-functional partners.
