ALSAC (American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities), affiliated with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, seeks a Sr. Director of Data Governance & Enablement in Memphis, TN to drive data governance and privacy across the enterprise.

This role focuses on ownership, quality, access, and lifecycle controls to unlock data value while protecting donor and patient information. You will lead a federated community of data owners, product owners, stewards, analysts, and tech partners, embedding

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of experience in data governance, privacy, or related fields.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale programs and federated teams.
• Strong understanding of data quality, metadata, lineage, and analytics governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the enterprise data governance and enablement strategy, roadmap, and maturity plan.
• Lead the operational privacy program within Enterprise Data & Intelligence, translating privacy obligations into practical policies and data controls.
• Establish enterprise practices for data ownership, quality, access, accountability, classification, metadata, lineage, integration, sharing, and retention.
• Define and operationalize data collection, access, use, sharing, retention, and disposition across platforms and processes.
• Govern data for analytics and AI, ensuring data is fit for purpose and compliant, with proper governance for models and lifecycle.
• Lead a federated community of data owners, stewards, analysts, and technology partners, with clear responsibilities and authority.
