Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Senior Director, Cyber Security to join the Information Security team. You will lead enterprise-wide cyber security strategy, strengthen security operations, and protect Clarivate's systems, products, data, and customers across regulated environments.

You will collaborate with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Quality, and business leaders to drive a risk-based program, improve control maturity, and support the resilience of our Life Science

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of cybersecurity experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams, programs, or cross-functional security initiatives.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, data integrity principles.
• Experience defining enterprise cyber security strategy, roadmaps, controls, and operating models.
• Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, threat monitoring.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar standards.
• Ability to translate cyber risk into clear exec-level recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support customer assurance, audits, and regulatory inspections in healthcare and regulated environments.
• Define and execute cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce enterprise risk.
• Lead cyber security programs across security operations, incident response, and governance, risk, and compliance.
• Embed security requirements into products and vendor relationships with stakeholders.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response for security incidents.
• Drive improvement of security controls, policies, and dashboards to meet internal and external requirements.
• Identify security gaps, prioritize remediation with tech and product teams.
• Support audit, certification, and regulatory activities with measurable security practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with coaching and prioritization.
• Communicate cyber risk and program performance to executives.
• Partner with teams to ensure secure software development and product security.
