Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Director - Cyber and AI Lead Systems Architect to lead a team of architects in delivering cutting-edge, mission-relevant cyber and AI solutions for DoD, IC, and other customers. The role is high-visibility with senior-level impact within the Cyber & Intelligence Sector, located in Reston, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD.

You will partner with capture leaders, sector CTOs, and mission SMEs to translate cyber operations expertise into differentiated agentic-AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 18 years of experience supervising and managing solutions architects and senior staff.
• Leading technical solutions on large federal cyber pursuits with solution-lead responsibility on proposals.
• Deep hands-on expertise across cyber mission operations and architecture (SOC modernization, threat hunting, IR, DCO/CNO, zero trust, cloud security).
• Experience integrating AI/ML and generative AI into cyber mission workflows with agentic AI patterns.
• Ability to translate complex cyber, AI, and mission concepts into compelling narratives for capture teams and executives.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53/171, RMF, CMMC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with capture leaders, CTOs, and mission SMEs to translate cyber understanding into AI-enabled solutions.
• Evolve agentic cyber AI offerings by analyzing gaps, readiness, trends and policy.
• Build relationships with OEMs and partners to bring differentiated capabilities into winning solutions.
• Design innovative, cost-competitive solutions across AI-enabled cyber operations and SOC modernization.
• Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Architects across complexity levels.
• Establish AI-driven solutioning templates and reusable artifacts to scale outputs.
