Peraton is seeking a Senior Director - Cyber and AI Lead Systems Architect to head a team of architects delivering AI-enabled cyber solutions for DoD and IC customers. This high-visibility role requires deep cyber and AI expertise and strong leadership across capture and delivery.

Location in Reston, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD with a focus on SOC modernization, threat hunting, and integrated AI/ML workflows. This position offers leadership at the enterprise level and substantial impact.

Qualifications

• 18 years of experience leading solutions architects and senior engineers.
• Led technical solutions on large federal cyber pursuits with LSA responsibilities.
• Deep cyber operations and architecture expertise: SOC modernization, threat hunting, IR, DCO/CNO, zero trust, cloud security.
• Experience integrating AI/ML and generative AI into cyber workflows.
• Ability to translate concepts to compelling narratives for executives and evaluators.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53/171, RMF, CMMC.

Responsabilités

• Translate cyber operational understanding into agentic-AI-enabled solutions that win contracts.
• Evolve AI offerings by analyzing capability gaps and policy trends.
• Collaborate with OEMs and Peraton Labs to deploy capabilities into solutions.
• Design mission-relevant AI-enabled cyber operations and SOC modernization.
• Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Architects.
• Establish AI-driven repeatable solutioning practices and reusable libraries.
