Job summary

This leader chairs the CARE Corporate Council and designs programs that connect business partners to CARE's mission, translating insights into revenue and influence.

You will guide communications, build dashboards to track reach and ROI, and co-develop content with executives and partners for high-visibility events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, business, international development, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, marketing, external affairs, or business development, preferably in sustainability, CSR, or global development.
• Experience building cause marketing campaigns and employee engagement programs with measurable impact.
• Experience leading cross-sector communication or engagement initiatives that yield revenue and brand results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the CARE Corporate Council as CARE's premier platform for engaging senior corporate leaders.
• Identify and cultivate prospective members, designing programming like working groups and convenings.
• Secure high-value speaking opportunities and panel placements for CARE's senior leaders, expanding presence in industry events.
• Build relationships with industry associations, event organizers, and media to extend CARE's footprint.
• Develop and implement a measurement-driven thought leadership strategy with original content.
• Partner with senior executives to align output and speaking calendars with major partnership milestones.
• Guide corporate communications strategy to connect thought leadership to business, brand, and social outcomes.
