Overview

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Senior Director of Information Technology will lead and manage a team responsible for overseeing the company's IT applications and support services. The Sr Director will build and execute strategy with the highest standards of IT operations, technology optimization, project management, and employee culture. The primary charter of this role is to ensure continual improvement in empowering the business to scale while capitalizing on opportunities for efficiencies.

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs typically support through training, research, and skilled leadership. At HealthEdge, our COEs include Human Resources, IT, Legal, and Financial fields, supporting our Product divisions and enabling the enterprise to achieve its goals.

Your Impact
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of enthusiasm and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure operational readiness of the IT teams, including capabilities assessments, resource allocation, and skills development.
  • Define and execute the IT strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals, emphasizing long-term planning.
  • Leverage your ability to build bridges and your passion for continual improvement to provide a high-quality user experience for HealthEdge’s employees.
IT Tooling and Automation:
  • Assess capability gaps and develop solutions with an AI-first mentality. Be a subject matter expert in emerging AI markets and drive focused adoption.
  • Build and optimize scalable back-office platforms suitable for a multinational workforce.
  • Understand stakeholder challenges deeply and leverage best practices in technology and processes to address them.
  • Maximize IT investments through strategic automation.
  • Partner with Security and GRC teams to ensure tools and procedures meet high data protection standards.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
  • Optimize communication channels with internal customers for high-quality engagement.
  • Develop effective communication strategies for initiatives and status updates for various stakeholders.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate IT operations and services.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in IT operations, preferably in a SaaS environment, with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven success in building scalable high-performance capabilities, with a focus on automation-driven transformation.
  • An empowering leadership style that promotes efficacy, engagement, and job satisfaction, with a focus on fun.
  • Excellence in storytelling, consensus-building, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of AI and strategies to leverage it now and in the future.

Additional Details

Location: While based in Burlington, MA, candidates can reside anywhere in the US; proximity to Boston is a plus.
