Job summary

Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s Mission Investment Fund seeks a Senior Director of Core Systems and Applications to lead the strategy and delivery of core banking platforms and business applications. You will partner with operations, lending, and compliance to ensure stable, integrated, secure, and scalable technology across MIF and the ELCA FCU.

The role requires 8–10 years in technology leadership, strong vendor and budget management, and a collaborative approach with ELCA IT.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in technology leadership roles, with vendor and staff management.
• Experience stabilizing and integrating systems in mid-sized organizations.
• Strong governance, budgeting, and procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads operation, support, and roadmap for core banking platforms and applications.
• Manages platform, integration decisions, and technology roadmap.
• Oversees data security, access controls, and regulatory/compliance alignment.
• Manages vendor relationships, contracts, and technology budget.
• Leads the applications team and coordinates with ELCA IT shared services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
