Job summary

NWN is seeking a Senior Director of Controllership to own the integrity and efficiency of financial operations across a $1B+ multi-entity business. You will lead a large team, drive process automation, and ensure GAAP compliance, including ASC 606 and ASC 805, while partnering with cross-functional leaders to enable strategic business decisions.

The role emphasizes building bench strength, governance, and a proactive control environment, with a focus on transforming close speed and audit

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience with 5+ years leading managers.
Experience at a $1B+ multi-entity business in technology/IT services.
Experience leading ERP or large-scale systems transformation with AI/automation.
CPA license is required.
Strong GAAP knowledge incl. ASC 606, ASC 805, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end accounting operations including revenue, close, and financial reporting.
Manage a large, multi-disciplinary controllership organization with onshore/offshore teams.
Drive ERP transformation and automation to shorten monthly close and improve accuracy.
Oversee external audits and maintain audit-readiness year-round.
Partner with FP&A, Operations, Sales, Legal, and Revenue Ops on commercial decisions.
