Role Overview

This role sits within the Content organization and drives strategic innovation across research infrastructure while leading content analytics for the business. You will modernize data, systems, and workflows and shape content strategy through analytics and performance insights.

Hybrid role based in New York City with regular in‑office expectations. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship and live within commuting distance; relocation assistance is not available.

The Ideal Candidate Is
  • Strategic and analytical: moves seamlessly between research, data, and business strategy, identifies opportunities and translates insights into action.
  • Technically fluent: comfortable with data, prototyping solutions, building dashboards, and partnering with engineering teams on technical decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Cross‑functional and influential: excels at bringing together stakeholders across content, product, technology, forecasting, and business teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Exceptional communicator: distills complex analyses, workflows, and technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
  • Action‑oriented and entrepreneurial: thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from scratch, and is energized by solving mission‑critical problems without a predefined playbook.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the modernization of forecasting data structures, workflows, and supporting systems in partnership with Forecasting and Data Products leadership.
  • Develop scalable solutions that improve how research data is organized, maintained, reconciled, and delivered across the organization.
  • Identify and lead high‑impact data products and special projects that advance content innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Automate data collection and reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
  • Define, track, and communicate content performance metrics, KPIs, and organizational goals.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that make content insights accessible and actionable for stakeholders across the business.
  • Partner with Content, Research, Forecasting, Sales, and Product & Technology teams to translate business questions into analysis, recommendations, and strategic decisions.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, data products, business intelligence, consulting, or a related field, with demonstrated success leading complex cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical background with experience developing KPIs, conducting performance analysis, and connecting insights to business outcomes.
  • Proven project management experience leading initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and bridge technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Advanced SQL skills and hands‑on experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or equivalent business‑intelligence platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Python or a comparable programming language for analysis, automation, and prototyping.
  • Familiarity with APIs, structured data formats (JSON, CSV), and modern data architecture concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and improve decision‑making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or analytical field.
  • Experience within a research, media, market‑intelligence, analytics‑driven organization, or leading consulting firm is a plus.
Salary & Benefits
  • $160,000 to $180,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
  • Unlimited PTO, 10 paid holidays, and 16 weeks of parental leave
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans
  • Matched and vested 401(k) plan
  • Access to financial planning guidance, family planning services, mental health support, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
  • Additional benefits include commuter benefits, phone reimbursement, gym membership discounts, and more
