Job summary

Millennium Bank in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an experienced Director of Compliance to lead the bank’s Compliance Management Program and work with senior management to ensure adherence to laws and regulations while guiding practical solutions to support operations and strategy.

This role emphasizes proactive compliance leadership, policy development, monitoring, testing, and training, with a focus on examinations and a strong culture of compliance. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant banking compliance experience may be considered.
• Minimum of five years of experience in banking compliance or a related regulatory compliance role.
• Experience administering a Compliance Management Program, conducting compliance reviews, and managing regulatory examinations preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Professional compliance certification, such as CRCM, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer the Bank’s Compliance Management Program.
• Ensure adherence to federal and state banking regulations.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Provide leadership in regulatory compliance, policy development, monitoring and testing, and employee training.
• Support regulatory examinations and promote a proactive compliance culture.
