Job summary

Vipservices in New York is seeking a Director of Compliance to bridge frontline staff and the SVP/Chief Compliance Officer. You will manage daily compliance operations, supervise staff, coordinate investigations, and drive the organization’s HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 programs across all facilities.

This on-site leadership role requires strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive healthcare compliance experience.
• Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience.
• CHC/CHPC certification preferred or willing to obtain within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day compliance operations, investigations, audits, and regulatory submissions.
• Supervise staff, provide coaching, performance evaluations, and coverage planning.
• Lead investigations of regulatory violations and HIPAA incidents.
• Coordinate policy implementation and training on HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and risk assessments for leadership.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and facilities on compliance matters.
• Represent compliance during external audits and inquiries.
