Job summary

DataBank seeks an experienced Community Engagement leader to drive its non-elected stakeholder strategy across markets, expansion sites, and new entries. You will manage stakeholder maps, listening tours, and community commitments, coordinating with Construction, Corporate Development, and Sustainability to align local efforts with corporate priorities.

You will report to the SVP of Marketing, operate with independent judgment, and travel to multiple markets as needed to support DataBank’s

Qualifications

8+ years (Director) or 12+ years (Senior Director) of experience in community engagement or related fields.
Direct experience engaging communities around infrastructure with opposition.
Strong project management across multiple markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication for non-technical audiences.
Willingness to travel frequently to markets outside home base.

Responsibilities

Build detailed non-elected stakeholder maps for active or prospective DataBank markets.
Plan listening tours, stakeholder meetings, open houses, and community update events.
Synthesize stakeholder feedback into needs assessments and commitments.
Own the stakeholder tracking log and feedback intake process for every market.
Coordinate charitable giving and community volunteer activities with Marketing and other teams.
