Job summary

Raft is seeking a Senior Director of Command and Control in Hawaii to bridge warfighters and engineers, applying deep C2 and air-ops expertise to Raft’s leading customer engagements. You will translate mission needs into capabilities, working with PACAF and product/engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of leadership experience in U.S. military operations, preferably including senior roles in the U.S. Air Force.
• Extensive experience in command and control, air operations, operational planning or battle management.
• Deep understanding of Air Force and Joint C2, HQ staffs, AOCs, operational units, and partners.
• Ability to translate complex operational problems into actionable requirements for software teams.
• Proven ability to work with senior military and civilian leaders across boundaries.
• Technical fluency to discuss software, data platforms, cloud environments, AI, APIs, and integration conceptually.

Responsibilities

• Lead C2 innovation efforts across PACAF and Indo-Pacific theater to solve high‑value operational challenges.
• Build relationships with PACAF HQ, AOC, and joint mission partners to align priorities and modernization.
• Conduct mission discovery with operators to identify problems solvable by software, data, or automation.
• Translate requirements into clear statements, priorities, and mission outcomes for product and engineering teams.
• Help establish capability roadmaps based on mission value, demand, and feasibility.
• Represent Raft in engagements with senior Air Force, Joint, and mission‑partner stakeholders.
