Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management for in-house use cases to own discovery and define CoCounsel's in-house roadmap. You will translate lawyer feedback into prioritized features and lead a small team of product managers from concept through launch, partnering with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and GTM.

The role requires 5+ years in-house counsel or in-house product management, comfort with generative AI, and the ability to speak credibly with engineers about

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as in-house counsel or in legal operations, or 5+ years of product management on an in-house-focused product.
• Comfort working with generative AI and modern product tooling.
• Ability to engage credibly with Engineering about feasibility; coding experience is not required.
• Strong creative instincts and genuine customer empathy.

Responsibilities

• Own the in-house use case roadmap for CoCounsel and translate insights into a deliverable product plan.
• Develop a deep understanding of where in-house teams lose time and translate insights into use cases.
• Lead a team of two to three product managers, setting priorities and reviewing work.
• Shape the product with opportunities beyond automation and meaningful use cases.
• Deliver across the business by partnering with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and GTM teams.
• Represent the customer by bringing in-house legal perspectives into roadmap decisions.
