Job summary

The role requires an advanced life sciences degree and at least eight years in clinical research, with strong leadership, communication, and CTMS proficiency. Responsible for site selection, data integrity, safety reporting, and budget management.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in medical or life sciences is required.
• Minimum eight years of clinical research experience with leadership roles.
• Thorough understanding of the drug development process and trial phases (Phase I-IV).
• CITI certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the clinical research strategy and operational plans.
• Leads and mentors a team of clinical research professionals.
• Manages design and protocol development of clinical trials with regulatory compliance.
• Oversees preparation and submission of clinical trial applications to regulatory authorities.
• Collaborates with investigators to identify trial sites and investigators.
• Monitors data management and risk, ensuring subject safety and data integrity.
• Maintains adverse event reporting in line with guidelines.
• Reviews SOPs to ensure quality and safety of research.
• Manages budget, resources, and vendor selection.
