Job summary

Maze Therapeutics in South San Francisco seeks an Oversight Director, Clinical Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across CKD and PKU programs from early development through pivotal studies. You will shape development strategy, oversee CRO/vendor relationships, and ensure high-quality trials on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or health-related field; 12–15+ years in clinical operations
• Experience leading global Phase I–III trials and overseeing development assets
• Proven ability to guide and develop Clinical Operations teams and study leads
• Deep expertise in FDA/EMA/ICH-GCP regulatory requirements and inspection readiness

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational direction across multiple studies within the asset
• Oversee CRO and vendor strategies, budgets, and master service agreements
• Lead resource planning, forecasting, and budget accountability for Clinical Operations
• Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards
