Senior Director, Client Executive – Tech

About The Role
The Enterprise Client Account Lead (ECAL) for the Tech and FinTech industries will be a key leader within BNY’s Commercial Organization, driving strategic relationships and enterprise-level engagement with clients across the tech ecosystem. The role serves as the firm’s primary interface to key clients, aligning solutions, insights, and partnership opportunities to help clients achieve their business goals while advancing BNY’s strategic objectives. This is a highly visible role requiring strategic vision, commercial acumen, deep industry expertise, and the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver impactful client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership: Oversee initiatives defined by business strategy, contributing to the organization’s long‑term vision, values, and growth.
- Functional strategy: Develop and execute functional strategies to achieve key business objectives, contributing to the setting and achievement of commercial goals.
- Deliver solutions and consultative engagement: Articulate value, deliver insights, and drive consultative engagement with client coverage teams and key healthcare clients.
- Client interface: Act as the primary interface between assigned business areas, leadership, and clients to create, refine, and execute customized solutions in collaboration with product and design leaders.
- Client relationship excellence: Maintain awareness of client account activity across the firm and serve as the ultimate escalation point for client satisfaction and strategic alignment.
- Partnership and collaboration: Partner with revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and control, ensuring alignment with firm‑wide objectives.
- Cross‑functional integration: Ensure work is integrated across teams and that deliverables meet or exceed product and service quality standards.
- Platform collaboration: Manage through collaboration within BNY’s Platform Operating Model—engaging across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Commercialization teams.
- Market feedback loop: Bridge engagements with Sales teams to facilitate a feedback loop between market insights and strategic roadmap direction.
- Talent leadership: Develop, mentor, and sponsor junior talent, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Advanced or graduate degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of total work experience, ideally within financial services or securities industries.
- A portion of that experience to be within, or closely related to, the Tech industry.
- Proven success in client relationship management, business development, or strategic account leadership.

Benefits and Rewards
BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay‑for‑performance philosophy. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment, with additional compensation components such as commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentive packages, and company-sponsored benefit programs.
