Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Sr. Director of Cardiology and Operations to lead the strategy, operations, and finances of its cardiology service line across markets.

You will partner with cardiology leadership to scale a high-performing program using data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration. The role oversees service line performance, workforce planning, and enterprise initiatives, ensuring outstanding clinical outcomes, member satisfaction, and sustainable growth with up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in healthcare administration, business, nursing, allied health, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience leading multi-site operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of multi-site operational leadership with accountability for performance across locations/markets.
• Experience with budget management, capital planning, and operational KPI ownership; prior P&L accountability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-market cardiology strategy focused on growth, access, quality, member experience, and operational performance.
• Partner with cardiology physician leadership to establish priorities and improve program performance across markets.
• Analyze utilization patterns, referral trends, and market performance to identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with market leaders to address performance variation and drive enterprise cardiology priorities.
• Support value-based care objectives by improving clinical outcomes and reducing avoidable costs.
• Oversee service line financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Standardize cardiology workflows and improve quality, efficiency, and scalability across services.
• Oversee expansion of cardiology capabilities in new/existing markets including staffing and equipment deployment.
• Lead teams, provide coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement in clinical quality, safety, and patient experience through data-driven reviews.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, vendors, and partners to strengthenReferral pathways and program growth.
