Position Summary...

Supplier Excellence is a data driven, results-oriented organization focused on supporting Merchandising, partnering with senior leaders, and the broader Walmart organization to develop strategies, ways of working and solutions that enable Walmart be the supplier’s favorite retailer. We strive for best-in-class supplier collaboration by delivering shared value with a customer centered approach.

The Senior Director position will be responsible for suppliers’ communication, strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and events, which will require tight collaboration across numerous stakeholders including Walmart Connect, EBS, Data Ventures, Market Place, Finance and Supply Chain teams to drive one Walmart voice.

This Senior Director position will also be a people leader with direct reports dedicated to creating strategic clarity and engaging other team members, driving project management and execution of key initiatives.

What you'll do...

• Developing the strategy, execution plan and drive completion of key supplier initiatives aligned with Merchandising Executive leadership to address prioritized commitments.
• Drive visibility to supplier strategic portfolio initiatives and enable future prioritization and tradeoff decisions with Merchandising and cross-functional business, product, and technology leaders.
• Work collaboratively with business partners to drive strategy execution for high priority, high impact initiatives by reporting on key financial and strategic KPIs, managing the intake and progress of cross-functional teams, and breaking down barriers to accelerate pace.
• Partner with Merchandising and cross-functional partners to drive business case development for key strategic focus areas (e.g., business enablers, long range planning building blocks).
• Support the development of long-term strategic planning and annual operating planning across Merchandising by partnering with different teams to understand macro impacts, surface strategic initiatives, and assess overall corporate goals.
• Shape and support development of content for high profile supplier meetings with executive leaders.
• Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 7 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 9 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area. 3 years’ supervisory experience.

Working on cross-functional teams or projects. Masters, Masters: Computer Science, Masters: Supply Chain, Masters: Transportation.
