Job summary

A leading global CRO is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development in Bio Analytics to drive sales and establish key partnerships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in the CRO industry and proven sales experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue goals and identifying new business opportunities while fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Four to six years of experience in Bioanalytical Laboratory, Central Laboratory, Phase I or IIB Clinical Research, or CRO industries.
  • At least eight years of prior sales experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory and nationally.

  • Identify new contact leads for potential clinical, bioanalytical, and ADME business.

What the Senior Director, Business Development, Bio Analytics does at Worldwide

This role involves representing and promoting Worldwide Clinical Trials within a designated geographical territory and/or to key accounts, with the primary goal of establishing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships. The role includes identifying new contact leads for potential services.

What you will do
  • Achieve individual revenue and sales objectives through proactive sales and marketing of Worldwide’s services to assigned clients.
  • Identify new contact leads for potential clinical, bioanalytical, and ADME business.
  • Develop and implement strategies for individual, territory, and key accounts aimed at growth and retention.
  • Coordinate and attend trade shows, including making arrangements for exhibitions and hospitality suites, ensuring activities run smoothly and within budget.
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing plans.
  • Identify specific key account needs that could be developed into new Worldwide services (e.g., new bioanalytical methods).

Your experience
  • BA/BS in business or life sciences
