Moderna is expanding into autoimmune diseases and seeks a Senior Director of New Product Planning to shape strategy across the autoimmune portfolio. You will connect mechanisms of action with disease biology to define target product profiles and prioritize programs, collaborating with Research, Development, Commercial, and Manufacturing to guide investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific, medical, business, or related field.
• At least 10 years in pharma/biotech with experience in new product planning, research strategy, program leadership, or related functions.
• Experience leading product and portfolio strategy across multiple programs, including senior decision influence.
• Deep understanding of autoimmune disease biology and evidence evaluation.

Responsabilités

• Develop deep understanding of Moderna’s platform and autoimmune applications.
• Assess clinical, translational, and biomarker evidence and diagnose disease endpoints.
• Evaluate competitor programs and emerging therapies to inform strategy.
• Lead disciplined strategy processes with program teams and explicit tradeoffs.
• Define evidence needs to justify investment and prioritize indications and populations.
