Job summary

ORION GROUPS, based in McKinney, Texas, seeks a Senior Director of Analytics to lead analytics and engineering management across reporting projects for a large health system in the Dallas area. You will design, direct, and execute key analytics initiatives while partnering with executives.

The role requires extensive revenue cycle analytics experience at the Director level, strong leadership and presentation skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional projects in a hybrid Dallas

Qualifications

• 7 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Extensive experience with Revenue Cycle Engineering or Analytics at a Director level.
• Experience providing clarity for short/long term objectives, project prioritization, and feedback to Directors for staff development.
• Experienced and comfortable making presentations to Executive Leadership and Directors.
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, reporting systems, and project management methodologies.
• Proven track record of leveraging project management, analytical and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead or oversee special project reporting for various business units and pre-integration client reporting; maintain up-to-date requirements.
• Coordinate Analytics team analysts on projects, provide guidance, and deliver reporting to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain understanding of accounting/General Ledger practices as it relates to Hospital Revenue Cycle metrics.
• Collaborate with senior Executives and operations leaders to meet client needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Oversight of Engineering team members; ensure projects align with corporate strategies.
• Create Analytics/Engineering team strategies, monitor progress, and establish budgets.
• Set direction for a large analyst team aligned with senior leadership vision for executing strategic projects.

OVERVIEW

At Orion, we are seeking a Senior Director of Analytics to provide project, client and leadership to Analytics and Engineering management and analysts by designing, directing, and executing key Analytics projects. This opportunity includes projects such as pre-integration client reporting, emerging client integration reporting, large revenue cycle operations initiative reporting, regulatory reporting, process engineering projects and projects requiring expertise across multiple business reporting areas for an enterprise health system in the Dallas area.

OPPORTUNITY

Direct Hire; Hybrid in Dallas, Texas (U.S. — Central Time Zone)

SALARY

$150,000 — $170,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead or oversee special project reporting for various business units and pre- integration client reporting for new emerging clients; Maintain up-to-date expertise on reporting requirements related to all revenue cycle business units under his/her direction.
• Coordinate Analytics team analysts on projects by providing guidance and direction for reporting projects, while taking on more complex tasks as the lead for those projects; Ensure timely delivery of needed reporting to clients and various business unit stakeholders.
• Maintain a high level understanding of accounting practices/General Ledger practices as it relates to Hospital Revenue Cycle metrics.
• Collaborate with senior Executives and operations leaders to ensure client needs are met in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
• Oversight of Engineering team members, ensuring projects are in line with corporate strategies.
• Creates Analytics/Engineering team’s strategies, monitors progress, aligns staff and establishes budgets.
• Set direction for large analyst team that is consistent with senior leadership vision and approach for executing strategic projects.

KEY EXPERIENCE

• 7 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Extensive experience with Revenue Cycle Engineering or Analytics at a Director level.
• Experience providing clarity for short/long term objectives, project prioritization, and feedback to Directors for individual and professional development of leveraged Analytics, Engineering and Statistics resources.
• Experienced and comfortable making presentations to Executive Leadership and Directors.
• Advanced knowledge/experience with healthcare revenue cycle, reporting systems, project management methodologies.
• Proven track record of leveraging project management skills, analytical skills and time management skills to ensure that all requirements are accomplished within established timeframes.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or Engineering
