• 10+ years of BI development in an enterprise environment.

• Experience delivering end-to-end BI and analytics solutions, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Hands-on experience with MS Fabric, Power BI, Power Automate, Google BigQuery, SQL, or comparable reporting platforms.
• Advanced experience with SQL and relational databases, including querying, integrating, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex datasets.
• Data quality, validation, security, governance, and documentation practices within reporting environments.
• Experience analyzing complex data structures, relationships, dependencies, and data flows to improve reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain data consistency and integrity; work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver insights.

OVERVIEW

At Orion, we are seeking an Analytics Architect, in the Dallas area, to lead the development and delivery of business intelligence solutions, with a focus on designing and implementing reports and dashboards using MS Fabric, MicroStrategy, BusinessObjects (BO), and other enterprise reporting tools. This opportunity involves translating business requirements into effective BI solutions for an enterprise health system in the Dallas area.

OPPORTUNITY

Direct Hire; Hybrid in Dallas, Texas (U.S. — Central Time Zone)

SALARY

$130,000 — $140,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help maintain the consistency and integrity of reported data, work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, and deliver analytical insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Deliver reporting and analytics solutions (40%) — Develop, maintain, and deliver timely and accurate scheduled reporting, dashboards, metrics, and analytical solutions. Integrate and summarize data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights aligned with business requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders and ensure data quality (20%) — Independently engage business stakeholders to clarify reporting and analytical needs, define requirements, and ensure solutions address the intended business purpose. Validate data for accuracy, integrity, and security; identify anomalies and perform root-cause analysis to resolve data issues.
• Develop BI solutions and ad hoc analytics (30%) — Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain complex BI solutions and business-unit-specific analyses using MS Fabric, Power BI, Power Automate, Google BigQuery, SQL, and other enterprise reporting tools. Provide analytical recommendations and identify opportunities to improve reporting, data processes, and business insights.
• Support BI architecture, governance, and continuous improvement (10%) — Contribute to BI solution architecture and ensure established design standards, governance requirements, documentation practices, and internal processes are followed. Stay current with emerging BI technologies and practices and apply relevant innovations to improve reporting and analytics capabilities.

KEY EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of development experience of Design, develop, and implementing solutions using BI tools in an enterprise environment.
• Technical skills in MS Fabric, MicroStrategy, BO, data modeling, and related technologies.
• Experience delivering end-to-end BI and analytics solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise BI and data technologies, including MS Fabric, Power BI, Power Automate, Google BigQuery, SQL, or comparable reporting and analytics platforms.
• Advanced experience with SQL and relational databases, including querying, integrating, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex datasets.
