Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, big data, or software development.
• 4+ years leading data engineering or data product teams.
• 4+ years Python, Java, or similar languages.
• 4+ years Apache Spark for large-scale processing.
• 4+ years SQL and data modeling on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 4+ years CI/CD, DevOps/DataOps, and Agile.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, CS, engineering, math or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy/roadmap for data products on large-scale datasets.
• Lead data engineers and developers to deliver data products.
• Oversee scalable data pipelines, platforms, and products.
• Deliver AI-ready data products and RAG pipelines with feature engineering.
• Partner with product/business teams to translate requirements into data specs.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance with SLAs.
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks for on-time delivery.
• Drive performance, cost optimization, and release quality with AI-assisted dev.
