Job summary

Rippling seeks a Senior Manager of Product Design for its AI Platform in Seattle, WA. You will lead design across AI-enabled experiences, partnering with product, engineering, and research to create coherent, trusted enterprise workflows.

You will coach designers, shape patterns for agents, generated UI, and human‑in‑the‑loop processes, and help scale design across teams while driving product strategy and adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience in complex B2B or AI product environments.
• 3+ years of product design management, coaching senior designers.
• Strong systems thinking linking surfaces, permissions, and dependencies.
• Ability to create reusable interaction patterns and scale across teams.
• Fluency in AI product challenges: trust, explainability, feedback loops.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Design for AI Platform across Rippling’s product suite.
• Coach designers while staying close to craft, systems thinking, and strategy.
• Define reusable patterns for agents, UI, approvals, and trust.
• Partner with product and engineering to translate AI opportunities into experiences.
• Drive cross‑product alignment for consistent, permission-aware AI UX.
• Use insights and data to identify high‑leverage design opportunities.
• Create operating rituals for design reviews and cross‑functional decisions.
• Help attract and close senior design talent for the AI Platform.
