Job summary

Evolent Health LLC is seeking a Sr. Director of AI Platform Engineering to lead enterprise-scale AI initiatives, build multiple teams, and deliver scalable software. You will partner with Architecture, Product, Data, Security and core system teams to land foundations first and drive adoption across the enterprise.

You will guide AI-enabled delivery, governance and standards, mentor leaders, and collaborate with cloud, infrastructure and platform teams for secure, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or software engineering.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 7+ years in leadership.
• Experience building engineering teams for new initiatives.
• Strong technical expertise in architecture, API development and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering teams delivering AI platform capabilities from build to production.
• Shape platform roadmap with Architecture, Product and Security partners.
• Recruit, hire and develop engineers and engineering managers at pace.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and quality across teams.
• Ensure scalable, high-quality software with observability and operational readiness.
