Job summary

Community Solutions seeks a Senior Director of AI Development and Go to Market Strategy to lead the organization’s AI work in the field. You will guide building and shipping tools for testing within 170+ communities and shape adoption strategies while ensuring human-in-the-loop workflows and privacy protections.

You will oversee an interdisciplinary team, budgeting for go-to-market efforts, and developing partnerships with technology providers and funders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build with current AI tools and ship working software across the stack.
• Familiarity with model deployment, security, and compliance is a strong plus.
• Product judgment to discern valuable vs. unnecessary work.
• Experience managing external partnerships with tech or funding partners.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a bias toward shipping.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for the AI portfolio and decide what to build in-house vs. partner or contract out.
• Lead external partnerships and manage relationships with technology partners and funders.
• Guide testing, deployment, and governance to ensure human-in-the-loop and privacy protections.
• Develop go-to-market strategy and budget for the AI initiatives in the network of 170+ communities.
• Translate tools into practitioner-friendly documentation and training.
