Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Director, Product Management for Transactional Use Cases to own the discovery and definition of CoCounsel’s next phase for deal lawyers. You will translate customer needs into a prioritized roadmap and lead a team to ship the product, reporting to the Co-Head of Product for CoCounsel Legal.

You will collaborate with transactional attorneys, practice group leaders, and firm innovation teams to deliver impact across M&A, financing, real estate, capital markets,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a deal lawyer at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Comfort with generative AI and modern product tooling.
• Able to engage credibly with Engineering about what is realistic to build; coding not required.
• Strong creative instincts and customer empathy.

Responsibilities

• Own the transactional use case roadmap for CoCounsel.
• Understand where transactional teams lose time and risk across the deal lifecycle.
• Lead a team of two to three product managers and develop strong product judgment.
• Shape the product by identifying opportunities beyond obvious automation.
• Deliver across Engineering, Design, Marketing, and GTM teams from concept to launch.
• Represent the customer in roadmap and prioritization decisions.
