Job summary

Thomson Reuters’ CoCounsel is seeking a Senior Director, Product Management – Transactional Use Cases to own discovery and define what CoCounsel needs for deal lawyers. You will translate customer needs into a prioritized roadmap and lead a team of product managers to ship impactful features.

You’ll work with transactional attorneys across M&A, finance, real estate, and capital markets, partnering with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and GTM to deliver value from concept through launch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a deal lawyer at an AmLaw 100 firm with hands-on transactional experience (M&A, finance, real estate, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders on product strategy (generative AI a plus).

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap: Define and own the transactional use case roadmap for CoCounsel, translating insights from deal lawyers, practice group leaders, and firm innovation teams into a focused and deliverable plan.
• Understand the customer: Develop deep understanding of where transactional teams lose time and face risk across the deal lifecycle, from diligence through closing.
• Lead the team: Manage and grow a team of two to three product managers, setting priorities, reviewing work, and developing strong product judgment.
• Shape the product: Identify opportunities beyond obvious automation and develop use cases that solve meaningful problems for deal teams.
• Deliver across the business: Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and go-to-market teams to move transactional use cases from concept through launch.
• Represent the customer: Bring the transactional customer perspective into roadmap and prioritization decisions.
