Job summary

Fortive’s Provation GI portfolio seeks a Sr Director, Product Management to define strategy and execute product and design initiatives, driving user-centered innovation across healthcare SaaS platforms.

You will lead a high-impact, cross-functional team, emphasize AI, HIPAA compliance, and regulatory awareness, and partner with engineering to deliver scalable, compliant solutions while guiding a global product roadmap with 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years Healthcare SaaS experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven success delivering SaaS solutions in healthcare or regulated industries.
• Expertise in agile methodologies and digital product lifecycle.
• Experience leading and mentoring global teams and partnering across functions and geographies.
• Familiarity with product‑led growth principles and customer‑centric, data‑driven product development.
• Experience leveraging AI and automation to enhance product capabilities and streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• Shape, communicate, and execute a compelling product strategy, aligning with customer needs and company objectives.
• Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap, managing trade-offs and prioritization between core platform, new product development, and innovation to drive adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and global growth.
• Represent the voice of the customer through direct engagement and research.
• Anticipate shifts in healthcare delivery, reimbursement, regulation, and technology.
• Champion use of AI in how we work and what we deliver.
• Champion deep customer and user understanding to elevate design thinking and user-centered innovation.
• Ensure design and product teams create intuitive, workflow-aligned, and accessible experiences that reduce cognitive and administrative burden.
• Guide design execution across product teams.
• Establish and evolve design systems and UX standards; scale design without sacrificing quality as product lines expand.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams, to ensure product alignment with company objectives.
• Align product goals with broader organizational initiatives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external customers and partners to inform product development and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate agile delivery and iterative development.
• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
• Support go-to-market readiness by ensuring products are compelling, demonstrable, and well-positioned.
• Translate market insights into differentiated product offerings.
• Leverage data to inform product decisions and measure impact.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success and implement mechanisms for tracking, reporting, and reacting to performance data.
• Ensure delivery predictability while allowing flexibility for discovery and iteration.
• Use analytics to drive continuous product improvements and optimize user experiences.
• Drive outcomes across adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and financial growth.
• Coach, mentor, and manage performance of product managers, product owners and designers to foster individual growth and accountability, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent by building strong capabilities and creating clear career development pathways / providing opportunities for continuous learning and advancement.
• Cultivate a high-performing culture that promotes engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
