Moody's Corporation seeks a Senior Director Manager - Software Engineering to lead the Tooling Platform organisation within the Data Estate. You will drive a unified platform for data operations, modernise the tooling estate, and shape AI-enabled products that improve data quality and control at scale.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and technology experience, including leadership of managers and senior engineers.
• Proven success defining/ executing strategies for enterprise tooling and internal platforms.
• Strong architecture and engineering judgment across full‑stack web development and cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on understanding of data-enabled applications with emphasis on data quality and auditability.
• Modernisation of fragmented applications through platform consolidation.
• Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, Agile, DevOps, testing, observability, security and production support.
• Proficiency in AI concepts and hands‑on use of AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Familiarity with AI engineering principles and governance of AI agents and workflows.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, metrics, and platform adoption indicators.
• Strong customer and product mindset with ability to translate needs into roadmaps.
• Excellent leadership, hiring, coaching, and stakeholder management.
• Creative, action‑oriented leadership style; ability to navigate ambiguity.
