Job summary

Trucordia seeks a Senior Director of Applied Analytics to transform data into business value across monetization, efficiency, and organic growth. This hands-on leader will partner with data engineering, then scale to lead a team of analysts and analytics engineers.

You'll own end-to-end delivery on Snowflake and Azure, define data standards, and build AI-enabled data applications to drive revenue and improve client experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics, data science, or similar roles with hands-on building and leadership.
• Hands-on builder who can lead; ability to design and ship solutions quickly.
• Track record using data to impact revenue, cost, or growth beyond dashboards.
• Experience setting data strategy and identifying data gaps to collect.
• Building data applications or analytics products that business users will use.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Storage, ML).
• Strong analytics engineering skills: SQL, modeling, and Python or R.
• Ability to explain data opportunities to senior leadership and defend a plan.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and driving a path forward.

Responsibilities

• Monetization: turn data into products or analytics that generate revenue or save costs.
• Operational efficiency: reduce manual work, speed processes, enable smarter decisions.
• Organic growth: support cross-sell, retention, win rates, and client experience.
• Lead the building: develop data apps and AI-first tools beyond dashboards; production-ready with data sources.
• Own end-to-end delivery: from idea through modeling, testing, to production on Snowflake and Azure.
• Set direction: build business cases to fund prioritized analytics initiatives.
• Grow the function: hire and mentor analysts, data scientists, and analytics engineers, and establish standards.
• Ensure data governance, client confidentiality, and compliance with insurance data usage.
