Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Director - Aerospace and Defense to originate, analyze, structure, and close profitable commercial loans while ensuring credit quality and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a portfolio with a minimum of $40MM in commitments and a minimum sales goal of $60MM, collaborating with senior managers on larger deals and driving cross-sell of bank products within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of commercial lending experience.
• 5+ years lending to Aerospace and/or Defense companies is required.

Responsibilities

• Originate, analyze, structure and close profitable loan transactions.
• Participate with more senior Relationship Managers on larger loans and monitor status.
• Maintain and confirm credit worthiness of customers and gather documentation.
• Make recommendations on loans and terms within lending limits.
• Underwrite loan requests for new and existing customers.
