Foodbuy USA is seeking a strategic Procurement Leader to manage a growing team focused on optimization, upselling, and client retention in a dynamic environment. You will onboard new clients, manage C-suite relationships, and drive growth by executing a strategic vision for assigned accounts.

Ideal candidates have a track record in procurement, supplier negotiations, and data-driven insights, with strong Excel skills and travel up to 15% annually.

Job Summary

The primary duty of this position is managing a team that is focused on procurement optimization. Duties include leading a growing team that is focused on upselling and retention within our existing customer base, onboarding new clients, managing C-suite level customer relationships, maximizing account growth by leading and executing strategic vision of assigned accounts, assist with new business development and building strategies to help customers achieve their goals and the team meet their targets.

Responsibility

• Identify revenue opportunities within each account (i.e. Product, Channel, Region, etc.), and quantify the revenue potential
• Successfully onboard new clients positioned for growth through program participation and purchasing optimization.
• Build and maintain client relationships to maximize retention and contract renewals.
• Partner with senior Conterra leadership to coordinate Advisor Board activities that enhance the overall Conterra and Foodbuy programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain, category, finance, or related field; supplier management experience preferred.
• Strong negotiations experience
• Presentation Experience
• Ability to extract insights from complex data sets using advanced excel skills.
• Ability to influence through direct and indirect teams.
• Knowledge / Experience of budgets and forecasting
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Up to 15% Travel Annually
