Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Direct Support Professional III for the Corpus Christi Bond Homes to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Join a mission-driven team, work the Morning shift on a group home, train under guidance, and help residents achieve greater wellness and independence while following safety and documentation protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or 6 months of work experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain it no later than 90 days after hire date.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, Ukeru, and/or Safe Use of Restraint (SUR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and support services to individuals.
• Documents issues and progress of individuals for effective communication with staff.
• Administers first aid and CPR in emergency situations and monitors health and safety.
