Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking Advanced Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized, person-directed support in intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. Our work focuses on inclusion and building communities where everyone can thrive and participate in society.

You will support adults by creating a healthy home setting, teaching daily living skills, assisting with personal care, and advocating for health and wellness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year work experience supporting individuals with challenging medical needs and/or behaviors or dual diagnosis.
• Effective communication and proficient computer skills required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment process including clearances and verifications mandated by regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and, depending on location, daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support adults by creating a healthy, engaging home setting and supervising daily living activities.
• Teach and assist with daily living skills and personal care; advocate for health and wellness.
• May administer medications and perform delegated nursing tasks under supervision.
• Monitor health conditions and respond to emergencies following protocols and behavior support plans.
• Support individuals with a high level of need as defined by clinical assessments.
