Job summary

Senior Friendship Centers seeks an energetic Activities Coordinator to support a congregate meal site and enrich the wellbeing of older adults. You will engage participants with conversations, organize activities, manage meal service, and collaborate with volunteers to deliver nutritious meals and meaningful experiences.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience coordinating activities for older adults preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants with conversation, support, and a nutritious meal.
• Research, develop and oversee activities according to participant interests.
• Partner with local agencies and volunteers to offer classes, speakers, and learning opportunities at dining sites.
