Job summary

Genesis Healthcare seeks a Senior Director of Dining Services to oversee food and dining operations for an assigned nursing center and support others. You will plan and supervise the department, providing technical guidance on meal planning, menus, and the preparation and service of regular and therapeutic diets.

The role emphasizes innovative delivery, staff interviewing and orientation, and stringent adherence to sanitary and food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the nursing center.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Manages the dining process utilizing innovative and creative delivery solutions consistent with financial and regulatory expectations.
• Participates in the interview process and orientation of new food service professionals.
• Responsible for the quality and quantity of food served via menu program, production systems and food specifications and adherence to all sanitary and food safety regulations governing handling and serving of food.
• Investigates trends and developments in dietary practices and techniques, and evaluates their adaptability to dietary program
