Trinity Health Senior Communities is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee front-of-house dining operations for residents and guests. You will supervise dining staff, ensure service standards, and collaborate with kitchen and healthcare teams to meet dietary needs and safety regulations.

The role emphasizes high-quality service for seniors, staff training, and ongoing improvements to dining operations within a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of front-of-house experience in food service; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare or senior living environment is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for serving seniors.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to lead a team with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dining room operations, including scheduling and assigning duties to front-of-house staff.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service, with attention to the needs of elderly residents.
• Train, coach, and support servers to promote a positive team environment and professional service.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness, table settings, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with dietary and healthcare teams to ensure compliance with resident dietary requirements and medical needs.
• Address resident concerns or feedback with professionalism and care.
• Assist in onboarding new staff and conducting ongoing training sessions.
• Support management with inventory tracking, ordering supplies, and operational improvements.
