Onslow House is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and assist in providing nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. You will support meal preparation, service, and dining experiences with a strong emphasis on safety and kindness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation, portioning and serving to residents according to dietary plans.
• Maintain kitchen and dining area sanitation and cleanliness; wash dishes and equipment as needed.
• Support residents during meals and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Follow all food safety protocols for storage, handling and sanitation.
• Assist in receiving, storing and tracking food supplies and notify the Dietary Manager of shortages.
• Collaborate with dietary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and meal service.
• Assist with fulfilling residents' special dietary requests during meals.
