Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service, dietary, healthcare, hospitality or food-service desirable.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, sanitation and safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintains personal hygiene and serves food in a sanitary manner.
• Prep residents’ trays based on diet orders; assist with cutting and opening items.
• Sets tables, plates, and serves meals at correct temperatures.
• Operates dish machine; cleans pots, pans, and utensils properly.
• Follows tray dietary slips and reports safety or sanitation hazards.
• Stocking, FIFO inventory, and attending meetings and trainings.
• Performs cleaning and other duties as assigned.
