KV Pharmaceutical Company seeks a Senior Dimensional Metrology Inspector to ensure tight tolerances on medical and aerospace components. You will validate parts against drawings using CMMs, vision systems, and other metrology tools, read complex prints with GD&T, and contribute to quality through CAPA and MRB processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in precision inspection, CMM, or metrology within CNC machining, grinding, EDM, Swiss, aerospace, defense, medical device, or contract manufacturing.
• Advanced blueprint literacy and strong GD&T application skills.
• Experience with regulated systems such as ISO 13485:2016, AS9100, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, or ITAR-governed environments.
• Sharp documentation habits and a focus on traceability.
• Clear communicator across operators, engineers, and quality leadership.
• Mindset that looks beyond pass/fail to solve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new equipment, methods, and customer-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, receiving, and final inspections on CNC machined, Swiss, ground, EDM, and other tight-tolerance parts.
• Read complex prints and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 to validate features and datums.
• Operate and interpret measurements from CMMs, vision systems, optical comparators, profilometers, micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, pin and thread gages, gage blocks, and surface plates.
• Capture and report results with Good Documentation Practices aligned to ISO 13485, AS9100, FDA, and internal QMS expectations.
• Drive nonconformance activities, support MRB, and participate in CAPA, root cause, preventive actions, and continuous improvement.
