Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Staff Dimensional Metrology Engineer to lead applied dimensional measurement across the organization. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, and quality teams to integrate metrology early in development for better risk management and verification.

You will help build scalable metrology infrastructure, develop novel measurement solutions, and mentor teams while supporting high-rate production at Castelion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on dimensional metrology experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with Polyworks or similar software.
• Experience scripting automated inspection workflows.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and measurement uncertainty analysis.
• Proven ability to develop novel metrology solutions for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for applied dimensional measurement.
• Develop and deploy metrology technologies to solve challenges.
• Design or procure measurement equipment for efficient inspections.
• Support MSA and CAPEX decisions with data.
• Oversee calibration management and compliance with standards.
• Drive automation to democratize metrology data across teams.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, and quality early in development.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in metrology capabilities.
