Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of dimensional engineering experience across diverse manufacturing processes.
• In-depth knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5-1994/2009/2018; familiarity with 1D/3D variation analysis and 3DCS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead dimensional engineering strategy for aerospace and eVTOL structures, ensuring geometric integrity and tolerance robustness.
• Define and approve GD&T schemes, datum structures, and tolerance allocation methodologies.
• Establish dimensional control plans and variation reduction strategies for flight-critical structures.
• Develop and review measurement strategies, inspection plans, and metrology requirements (CMM, laser scanning, photogrammetry).
• Oversee dimensional validation during prototype, pre-production, and production phases for certification readiness.
• Mentor dimensional engineering teams and ensure best practices across programs.
• Interface with DERs, certification authorities, and stakeholders for dimensional substantiation and audits.
