Job summary

Magna International Inc. seeks a Senior Dimensional Engineer to lead GD&T tasks, tolerance analyses, and measurement planning from RFQ to launch. You will own dimensional deliverables, coordinate with global teams, and ensure compliance with ASME Y14.5, ISO, and customer standards.

Responsibilities include leading technical reviews, developing datum strategies, and supporting gage/fixture development, SCCAF data, and PPAP activities to drive launch readiness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: BSME or equivalent with deep GD&T knowledge.
• 10+ years of dimensional engineering experience.
• Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, PPAP, and launch.
• Familiarity with SCCAF, GR/GRR, and ISO/customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform GD&T and tolerance analyses for RFQ through launch.
• Create, review, and approve component and assembly drawings to standards.
• Develop datum strategies and fixture/gauge concepts for measurements.
• Coordinate with global teams to deliver assigned dimensional work on time.
• Support PPAP, SCCAF data, and change controls throughout programs.
