Job summary

CenterPoint Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to drive the digital enablement of its Supply Chain, overseeing procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, and Ariba, across the procure-to-pay lifecycle.

The role acts as a functional lead, solution owner, and trusted advisor for system administration, automation, data governance, analytics, and Agentic AI. It supports Velocity S/4HANA transformation with governance and adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, digital procurement enablement, enterprise systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience administering, configuring, implementing, or supporting digital procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, and/or SAP Ariba.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and P2P system functionality, solution design, integration, testing, release management, adoption, and operational support.
• Experience with procurement analytics, data governance, process design, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP, digital, or operating-model transformation, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA.
• Practical experience evaluating, designing, piloting, implementing, or governing Agentic AI solutions, AI agents, copilots, or intelligent workflow automation in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides functional leadership and continuous-improvement support for digital procurement systems like Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, and Ariba.
• Serves as a Supply Chain platform SME for design, administration, master data integrity, access, integrations, and governance.
• Partners with the Velocity S/4HANA program to design and deploy future-state processes using fit-to-standard principles.
• Identifies and implements automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve controls.
• Leads evaluation and application of Agentic AI within Supply Chain with governance and pilots.
• Develops analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and adoption metrics for sourcing and spend management.
