Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an IT Automation leader to develop and deliver digital solutions with a focus on automation, integration, and AI. The role involves collaborating with global business and IT partners to align priorities, manage risk, and drive automation-enabled process improvements.

You will lead a team of solution architects, oversee DevOps for new development activities, and track business value to identify new use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT, software development, or innovation, with relevant experience across software development, infrastructure, and operations.
• Expert knowledge of low/no code application platforms, integration tools, and data management platforms; healthcare/life sciences (GxP) experience (plus).
• Experience with complex system integration technologies.

The Position

• Accountable for developing and delivering digital solutions, particularly in automation, integration, and AI.
• Collaborate with business partners and IT stakeholders to ensure priorities, quality, and risk are managed and automation-enabled process improvements are implemented efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Liaise with global teams on effective management of platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform).
• Develop and maintain platform usage guidelines.
• Manage a team of solution architects to design and implement automation solutions.
• Manage day-to-day DevOps processes to streamline new development activities; manage the automation portfolio.
• Influence stakeholders to challenge established processes and collaborate effectively.
• Lead communication.
• Ensure cross-functional requirements are met rapidly, with foundational knowledge of security, architecture, and engineering concepts.
• Track and communicate business value generated to identify new use cases.
• Manage releases and coordinate with development resources, QA/QC, and security teams.

Physical Requirements
